01 Overview
IPTVPlayer is a media player that lets you add and play IPTV playlists (for example M3U links, Xtream Codes, or local playlist files) that you provide. We do not operate IPTV channels or streaming servers. Playlist and stream content come from third-party sources you choose. The App does not require an account or login, and we do not operate our own user data server.
02 Information we collect
Information stored on your device
The App may store locally on your device:
- ▸Playlist names and URLs / credentials you enter
- ▸Channel lists imported from your playlists
- ▸App settings (language, preferences, layout)
- ▸Premium / purchase status cache
- ▸Recently watched and saved items
This data stays on your device unless you choose to share it (for example by sharing a playlist).
Information processed by Google & Firebase
Depending on the features you use, Google services may process:
- ▸Advertising ID and device/ad-related data (Google AdMob)
- ▸Purchase / subscription data (Google Play Billing)
- ▸Crash and diagnostic data via Firebase Crashlytics (for example device model, OS version, app version, and stack traces) to help us find and fix bugs
- ▸Basic technical data needed to show ads, prevent fraud, and process payments
We do not sell your personal information.
Permissions
The App may use:
- ▸Internet — to load playlists and play streams you provide, show ads, send crash reports, and check updates
- ▸Network state — to know if you are online
- ▸Advertising ID — for personalized or non-personalized ads (depending on your device/settings and Google policy)
- ▸Storage / file access (via system file picker) — only when you choose a local M3U file
We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location for core player features.
03 How we use information
We use information only to:
- ▸Provide app features (playlists, playback, settings, premium)
- ▸Show advertisements (free version)
- ▸Process and restore in-app purchases / subscriptions
- ▸Improve stability and fix crashes using Firebase Crashlytics
- ▸Respond to support emails you send us
04 Ads
The free version may show ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data according to Google’s policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. Premium users who purchase “remove ads” / premium plans will not see ads while entitlement is active.
05 Purchases
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to payments.
06 Crash reporting (Firebase)
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) to automatically collect crash and diagnostic information when the App fails or becomes unstable. This helps us understand problems and improve reliability. Crash reports may include technical details such as device information, operating system version, app version, and error logs. They are not used to identify you personally for marketing.
Firebase / Google may process this data under their privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
07 Third-party content and links
Streams, logos, and playlist sources are provided by third parties you add. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or legality of those third-party services. Use only playlists/content you are allowed to use.
08 Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
09 Data retention
Local app data remains on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the App, or delete playlists/items inside the App. Ad, billing, and Firebase Crashlytics data retention is controlled by Google under their policies.
10 Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed by the App. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
11 Your choices
You may:
- ▸Delete playlists and local data inside the App
- ▸Clear app storage / uninstall the App
- ▸Manage ads via device ad settings
- ▸Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play
- ▸Contact us to ask privacy-related questions
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
